April 13, 2010: Council discusses possible sponsorship; project is endorsed for further review.

April 27, 2010: Council agrees to sponsor a Circle; Brother Knight Tom Montgomery to be Chief Counselor.

May 11, 2010: Grand Knight signs official "Notice of Intent to Establish a Columbia Squires Circle". This application for a charter and a Youth Leader Application are mailed to Ohio's State Deptuy for review.

Summer, 2010: meetings with Badin Principal, Frank Margello and new Chaplain Fr. Muhlenkamp.

November 21, 2010 Investiture of first two Squires for the Badin Circle held at Fenwick High School Chapel with Chief Counselor Tom Montgomery and Father Prior Rob Muhlenkamp.

April 28, 2011 Notification from Supreme Council, Knights of Columbus, of the recognition of the new Fr. Stephen T. Badin Squires Circle #5495.

May 14, 2011 Reception of the original charter for the Circle.
